I'm finally back to updating! I've been in and out of town the last few weeks. Combine that with the fact that I'm smack dab in the middle of wedding season and you get one sad little blog :) I'll make up for the lack of blogging very soon! Also, have you noticed the new look around here? I'm notorious for changing up the look of my blog. What can I say? I bore easily :) I actually worked on this one for weeks now and am so happy with the outcome! I've also added a Categories tab to make it a little easier if you only want to look at weddings, or just babies & maternity, etc. Oh, and e-mail is still not my friend these days. I always return e-mails within 48 hours, if not the same day. So, if you have e-mailed me recently please try again via the Contact tab. Thanks so much!

Anna & Ryan had such an awesome day filled with crazy firemen, a pit stop at a bar and lots of smiles. These two are ridiculously adorable and I just loved working with them. Here's just a few from their beautiful day:

Well, this was meant to be a trip to take some "10 Month Old" photos of Sophia...That didn't exactly work out because she was in complete and total awe of all of the lights and music. We literally could not get her to look at me because she couldn't take her eyes off what was going on around us. So, I resorted to taking some fun/interesting shots of the carnival itself.

I did manage to get a little smirk out of her when I was testing light. However, as you can see in the 2nd photo, she would not take her eyes off the carousel! There was no goofy sound or silly face I could make to get her attention :)

This one of the carousel is my fave. I'm having it printed and hanging it on our wall :)

I was trying to capture the awesome ambient lighting by setting my shutter speed crazy low but I didn't have a tripod. It's totally out of focus but I still think it's pretty awesome for some reason. I just like it, imperfections and all.

Emily & Chuck told me ahead of time that they were a little nervous because they're not very comfortable in front of the camera. As you can see, they definitely didn't seem too terribly uncomfortable afterall :) So sweet & cuddly, just love it.

I love Christina, I love Kevin and I loved this wedding. Simple as that. These 2 made my job so easy because they are totally, completely, ridiculously in love...and not afraid to show it!

Todd and Nicci were (finally!!) married this weekend at The Country Club of the North in Beavercreek. We were waiting for a downpour of thunderstorms all day but luckily the rains held out for us. It was HOT though! I mean really hot. No, seriously. HOT. We made it out alive though!

I'm so happy for you guys! We had a great time and wish you two the best of luck in everything.

I said I was going to start posting more personal stuff around here, so here I go! Sorry if I totally bore you all :)

Anyways, I hosted my first ever shower! Michelle and I are old high school friends and I am going to be apart of her big day on Anna Maria Island, FL next month! Here are a few details from Michelle's shower at The Secret Garden in Waynesville. I love this place!

I loved making these centerpieces. The peonies are actually from the bridesmaid bouquets from my wedding :)

I made a huge pitcher of Pina Colada's, Michelle's favorite! They were so good...

She was definitely showered with gifts! Woo hoo!

Sophia is finally making her debut on my blog...It's about time! My clients have probably heard me talk about her endlessly, yet I've never shared any photos of her here. I'm not really sure why. I guess I was trying to keep my personal life and my business life separate. Well, she is just so stinking cute that I can't stand the thought of keeping her hidden from my blog world anymore :)

Maybe I'll start sharing more of my personal life around here...Anyways, here she is! Sweet Sophia is 9 months old. I can't believe it!
